2.4 Feedback Submissions

This information is delivered to the messaging service we use internally to receive and review feedback, and is also briefly retained in our hosting provider's server logs. Contact details are optional and are only used to follow up on your feedback.

2.5 Security and Abuse Prevention

We use Vercel BotID to protect certain endpoints (such as the feedback form and AI search) from automated abuse. BotID analyzes technical browser signals to distinguish real visitors from bots; these signals are processed by Vercel and are not used to identify you personally.

To keep AI search available and affordable for everyone, we apply per-visitor rate limits. For this purpose your IP address is stored temporarily in our infrastructure, solely as a request counter. These records expire automatically within approximately 24 hours, are not linked to the content of your searches, and are not used for any other purpose.

2.6 AI Search Conversations

When you use the AI search feature, the messages you type are sent to our servers and forwarded to OpenAI's API to generate a response. According to OpenAI's API data usage policies, this data is not used to train their models and may be retained by OpenAI for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before being deleted.

We do not store your conversations on our servers; your chat history exists only in your browser for the current session. We do record the text of AI search messages in our anonymous analytics to improve the feature. Your messages are never linked to an account or identity, but please avoid including personal information in AI search conversations.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our service
  • Improve user experience and website performance
  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance features
